December 2006
New release:
"Songs
For The Early Morning Sun" runs the
gamut of roots music, from acoustic blues in "Two
to One" to a hillbilly stomp in "Fingernail of God".
The album was recorded with stand-up bass (Cliff Minchau) and primarily two acoustic guitars (Barrie Nighswander
and Al) with guest musician Cam Neufeld on fiddle and mandolin and Terry Morrison on backing vocals for two songs.
The 12 tracks for the album were recorded at Brass Monkey productions by John Armstrong and mixed by Barry Allen
at Homestead recorders.
If you're too late for tickets at the Roxy, you'll be pleased to know that Edmonton's hippest Christmas tradition
